The Marilles Foundation, the non-profit driving marine conservation in the Balearics, brings fresh updates on biodiversity, science, and citizen action.

Marine Biodiversity Days in the Balearic Islands
Effective protection of the Balearic Sea, the marine mammals that inhabit it, and water quality will be the three main themes of the 2nd Marine Biodiversity Conference of the Balearic Islands.
Organized by the [marilles.org/en]Marilles Foundation, these October events will once again bring together projects, actions, and organizations to turn ideas into proposals for action.
The regional government used last year’s conclusions to draft its public action plan for the conservation of sharks and rays in the Balearic Islands.

Balearic Sea Report Turns Five
The Balearic Sea Report was created with a clear goal: to gather rigorous, up-to-date information on the state of the Balearic Sea and make it accessible to citizens and public authorities.
Five years on, more than 30 organizations and institutions and over 120 researchers participate, making it a key tool for driving marine conservation initiatives.
